Jack Russell Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Watson the Dog needs a home

Please contact Teresa ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.

Here's WATSON!

Watson is a 1 year old, 12 pound, neutered male, terrier mix. Our guess is a Jack Russell terrier blend.

Watson was found as a stray in a neighborhood and no one came looking for him. He is ready for a home to call his own.

Watson is a compact, sturdy little dog. He is very loyal and sweet. He gets along with most of the other dogs in his foster home, but occasionally displays some alpha characteristics and can be bossy with other males. Like alot of terriers, he isn't a big fan of cats. If others are playing, and he is crated, he will vocalize his desire to be out to play too! He does well in a crate, and does most of his potty business outside when kept on a regular schedule.

Watson is heartworm negative, current on vaccinations and flea and heartworm preventive, and is micro-chipped. He comes with a health certificate to travel.

Watson's preferred home has a secure fenced in yard he can play in supervised, an active person to keep him exercised, no cats, no other alpha male dogs, and no children under 10 please.

Watson is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted. All adopters must meet requirements.

Watson is available through Lytle Animal Care and Control. Adoption fee is $185, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185.
