Roxy the Dog needs a home
Could you open your home to a special needs dog?!? If so Roxy promises lots of love in return!! Roxy is a very loving dog who is house and crate trained. She actually loves her crate, and she will even go in there on her own! She loves her dog bed too! She will sleep there every night, if she is not in her crate. Roxy is dog friendly, loves walks, and does great on a leash. She does not stray from her foster, and will stay in the yard without even needing a fence or leash. Roxy is about 4 years old, 40-ish pounds, white and brindle boxer mix. She also has the cutest under bite that everyone loves. Roxy is a special dog, and you will never meet another one like her. She is hilarious and quirky, and most of all...she has a lot of love to give!! All sounds great right?!? Here is Roxy's special request... For the most part Roxy functions like a normal dog, but she does have some quirks, due to a neurological brain disorder. Roxy is willing to work on her quirks with a loving and patient owner. Roxy will show dislike (barking and growling) towards people she doesn't know, especially men, however, she would make a great guard dog! So a home without men or a Dad that is patient and willing to go slow until she earns your trust. She prefers to be in a relatively quiet home with no small children and not a lot of commotion, as this can stress her out. Roxy can be diva, as most girls can when she wants to be, which is why she needs a family with patience and understanding.
