My story is a sad one. I’m a one yr old spayed female. My vaccines are all up to date. I came from a SC shelter. I was in there for more than 1/2 my life so I have no idea about how the world works. Not sure what’s good and what isn’t so everything scares me.....except other dogs and puppies. They help me feel confident. I had a shelter buddy in SC. The shelter recognized my fears. Now to those that are still reading this you must know I don’t have a mean bone in my body. I am tolerant of rough play, stealing my toys and trying to steal my food. Oh those naughty puppies. I sleep in my crate without issues. I am housebroken and about 40# I started my journey of trust. I will actually climb up on the sofa and snuggle with my foster mom. Just as long as she doesn’t move to quick I’m content. I’m getting more easy to pet and love up on. It’s going to take me weeks maybe months to trust my new family but I promise if you are patient with me I’ll be the best dog ever.
A secure fenced in yard is a must. If I get away I’ll be too scared to come back on my own. Also I need a buddy. I follow by example. If I see my foster friends getting some love I want some too. Also I love to prance around and play with my friends. We play and wrestle but I never get to rough with them. Did I mention that I don’t have a mean bone in my body?
