If an animal is on our website, it is still available but might have other applicants. If you find yourself interested in one of our animals, it is in your best interest to submit an application immediately. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but does get you a head start with the adoption approval process.
We do not schedule meetings until you have an approved application.
As an all-volunteer, foster home based organization, ARF does not have a facility where applicants can visit our animals. The majority of our dogs and cats are brought to adoption events by our volunteers. We invite everyone to come to our events, but we must give priority to pre-approved applicants.
Miss Beverly, known by her foster as Bea for short, is a 9-year-old Yorkie Mix. Bea is a beautiful girl that gets along with all dogs and cats.
Bea was bred so when she came to ARF she needed to be spayed, chipped and have some mammary tumors removed. She has never snapped or growled through any of her pain and discomfort. She never growls when her foster Lab sister wants to ‘share’ her food or when her foster sisters push her from their beds. With that said, she is very timid around people and would do best in a home with children 10 and older. Bea will approach to take bits of chicken from your hand, but is not a voluntary cuddler.
Her foster loves having Bea in their home and she seems to prefer to do her potty outside, but does not signal to go out. When potty is scheduled, she is good.
Her health problems are behind her now and we hope she finds a loving home with other dogs in it.
Miss Beverly is micro-chipped, up to date on all vaccinations, housebroken and spayed . Miss Beverly ' s adoption fee is $275. as we cannot hold animals.
