Meet Sugar....a super sweet old gal who is looking for Santa to deliver her a home for Christmas. Sugar is a miniature pinscher weighing in at 14 pounds. She is the wise and mature age of 12 so she has perfect manners. House broken, crate trained however there's no need of one as she has no bad habits her foster family says. She has keen hearing just open a treat bag to test out. Sugar loves other dogs, in fact she was sadly surrendered by her owner along with 2 other big dogs so she is extremely socialized. She gets along great with big or small pups, male or female...it's a bonus if they'll let her cuddle up. Sugar is super affectionate but not needy or demanding in attention. She likes cats, loves car rides, hiding her bones under her blanket, snuggling and treats! She'll explore outside but doesn't like walking on a leash but minds vocal commands well. No kiddos in foster home but they say her personality is the perfect mix of gentleness, confidence, love and spunk! She is heartworm positive but has started the steps for treatment. Sugar has brought so much joy to all she meets including the staff and volunteers at the shelter and her foster home. She is full of personality and love and deserving of a real home for Christmas! Sugar was told Santa can make miracles happen so make her yours...
