Haley the Dog needs a home
Haley is a beautiful senior lab/setter mix who still enjoys a good game of fetch and then to flop down for a nap. She is a very loving dog looking for her own special forever home. Haley is house trained and does well with other dogs and cats. This wonderful dog has a very sad history. Before Haley came into our organization she had lived in two previous homes. Both of these homes had "returned" Haley to the humane society from which we rescued her. Haley suffers from a condition known as separation anxiety. This is a treatable condition and Haley is well worth the time, patience and training needed to help her.
Haley is participating in the Rush to Rescue program, so she is currently being fostered by a pair of offenders at the Rush City Correctional Facility. While there, she will be attending a training program with a certified trainer and will be working on her commands with her handlers.
