Sweet and Petite Muneca Needs A Foster (or Forever) Home...Please?
Our easy going senior gal lost her foster home last week and it is breaking our heart she is in boarding. She was at our adoption event on Saturday and she was AWESOME! She is only 35 pounds, very easy going, great on the leash, her tail is always wagging, she loves her treats and attention. We think she maybe a little hard of hearing, but that doesn't stop her in any way. Muneca is on grain free food and fish oil for her skin, she had a sever case of flea bite dermatitis when she came to us 6 weeks ago and she is looking SO much better now! Muneca would make an excellent companion!

In the Beginning: When we saw a video and post by a volunteer at the Downey Shelter we immediately knew we needed to find out what was going on with this senior. All we knew is Muñeca was surrendered in this condition at the age of 10 years young when her family was moving. She was depressed and in immediate need of medical attention.

was on her way to our vet to get the medical care she deserved! She went to the vet and had
blood work done (hoping a low thyroid is in play here), and she got a much needed bath, ear cleaning and we have started her on antibiotics and fungal meds while we wait for her blood work. She is warm and safe...
