Grommit the Dog needs a home

I need to rehome my dog Grommit, as my schedule has become too busy to provide enough time for him. He is a WONDERFUL dog with incredibly good behavior (no chewing, barking, or accidents), sweet demeanor, and endless affection. I have adored having Grommit since I adopted him from a shelter in May 2015, but as a single owner have not been able to give him the time and attention he deserves. Grommit has some separation anxiety (I think this is due to my being his only caregiver, because he doesn't display anxiety with others), and I think he would do well in a family home with at least two people to regularly care for, play and cuddle with him, including children (he is very gentle). Alternatively, a single owner who works from home or part-time might work. He is ~7 yrs old. He loves people and gets along with some other dogs (typically dogs his size or smaller; he is about 20 lb). Some leash aggression with bigger dogs, but does well off-leash.
He likes some activity such as a walk around the block or a game of fetch, but equally loves a nice relaxing nap. He won't get anxious if you don't exercise him regularly. Variety is the spice to life and in this dog's opinion there are too many wonderful things in the world to stay focused too long on just one, unless it is REALLY interesting. There is nothing in the world that is scary to this dog. New places and new people are treated like he has known them his whole life. He can be very affectionate and will often show it, but isn't overly pushy about getting attention. He likes to be close to you as much as possible, but seems to know when you want to be left alone.
