SHERLOCK the Dog needs a home
This handsome, long wavy-coated, Aussie mix boy is called Sherlock and he will find all your hot buttons and he will push every one of them to charm you. This great dog is 3 years old and weighs 62 pounds. Sherlock is so loving and friendly and just adores going for a ride in the car. He loads up in such an easy manner that tells us that he has done this many times before. For whatever reason, he found himself in a small rural Tennessee shelter and spent a month there. The general public is not allowed to adopt from this shelter and the only way a dog leaves is by an owner reclaiming them, a rescue taking them into their organization to a foster home or…being euthanized. Not enough options for some wonderful dogs like Sherlock. After 4 weeks Critter Cavalry Rescue finally found a foster home open for him. He is settling in right now, has been vetted and ready for a new home now. A home without small children is what we are looking for as Sherlock is protective of new people coming into the home. He will do best as the only dog and a fenced yard would be ideal. He would be a great hiking, running or walking partner. He is smart and has a great temperament.
