If I were human I would prolly watch the Notebook over and over while silently yelling “damn you Nicholas Sparks, you get me every time”.   I am a gentle soul with a big heart and would be a great tear jerker snuggle buddy for any woman or man who likes to watch romantic novels come to life.   Followed by a Hallmark Christmas movie binge to get our spirits back up. I yearn for a home and bed to call mine.  I was rescued from the city shelter where I took a little while to warm up due to my sweet nature.  Once I know you are a good egg, be prepared to be smothered in kisses. I am described by human folk as an AWESOME calm good natured 40 pound 2 year old love bug, but I should note that I am not actually an insect, but the rest is true, I am actually a Labrador Retreiver dog blend. I am black in color and just like the color black I go with anything and everything. Fashionistas are always coming up with some new tagline like orange is the new black, or pink is the new black, but black is always the best black.   Young, old, big, small, all dogs want to be around me, because I am submissive and easy going.  I will need a yard with a secure fence, because I do believe the grass is greener…….or slightly grayer if we go by how dog’s eyes see color, on the other side of the fence, so I do consider myself an avid fence climber in my quest to see what the heck is going on the other side.   I guess I have FOMO (fear of missing out!). GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
