Standard Adoption Fee Adult Dog: $250 ea.  Puppy Adoption Fee: $300 ea. Reduced rates for Seniors dogs (10 and up).  Reduced rates for pairs (when adopted together).

FranklinStein is a miniature, black and tan short haired boy with high energy, high prey drive, and loves his toys!  Please no cats, small kids, or other small critters.  Franklin is ok with most female dogs, preferably one that can match his positive energy levels!  FranklinStein hates the vet, we think he can tell when he’s going to see a vet and gets cranky about it, so he snaps at the techs/vet. He has had to be muzzled for his vet visits.  He really is a good boy.  He's afraid of thunderstorms and gets anxious when over-stimulated, otherwise, once comfortable with you he's a playful, loving, silly boy.  Once he trusts a person he'll give kisses, jump in your lap and loves to play rough.  He is the perfect loving hard headed little buddy!  He’s all vetted, ready to meet a person who has a strong personality and is an experienced dachshund parent.



Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.



 




Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!
