Adopt a Doberman Pinscher (short coat)
Jeanie the Dog needs a home
Animal Profile: Jeanie, currently called Coco, is a sweet Doberman who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in California and is settling in to a foster home in the Seattle area. She weighs in at about 43 lbs now and needs to gain some weight, but she'll probably top out at about 60 lbs. This easygoing girl is great with people of all ages and other dogs, and a dream on leash. She knows some basic commands like sit and wait, and isn't food reactive, toy reactive, or destructive in any way. She loves to be close to other dogs, and is happy hanging out in the house or in her crate when she isn't playing. She does have a prey drive, but when corrected she can be pretty easily distracted from the squirrel/cat/bunny she'd like to chase if she were off leash. This sweet, trusting girl will make a wonderful companion to some lucky person, whether her forever home is an apartment or a farm.
Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $475, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.
