Adopt a Dutch Shepherd / Plott Hound / Mixed (short coat)

Hey you know what? You could actually do ink blots tests using my fur.  Ask people, hey what do you see in that brindle splotch there? But don’t ask dogs, because every dog would just answer bacon. The correct answer is always bacon if you want to sound like a normal fully functional dog.  My name is Ophelia and Brindle is a stripey coat pattern that shows up in lots of THE coolest breeds, so best guesses for my mix are Dutch Shepherd mix or perhaps Plotthound or Boxer.  Pick what you like, it is just a guess and either way, you will get a potty trained 1 ½ year old, 45-50 pound beautiful girl dog with a to die for stripey coat who almost knows SIT!  I was rescued from the pound in Selma, Texas and no one came looking for me, so I was on the list that you do not want to be on.  Then a Foster Mom saved me. So far we know that I am good around dogs and kids, but I haven’t met any cats yet. I am a HUGE fan of squeaky toys, I would probably hang a poster of them in my bedroom if I had a bedroom and if sqeaky toys had posters.  But I am not a fan of being in my crate.  When I am not in the crate, I am chill and mellow and very playful. But I get anxious when my Foster Mommy puts me in the crate and leaves.  IS SHE EVER COMING BACK??? Yes, she does come back, so maybe I will get used to this, some day. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
