Adopt a Pekingese / Tibetan Spaniel / Mixed (long coat)

Gina and Georgie were pulled from a regional high-kill shelter because they were so crowded, and a blind dog was not on the "high demand" list.  However, they didn't understand the relationship between Gina and Georgie (who is blind).  Gina is his seeing-eye dog.  She leads him around the house and yard; he couldn't navigate without her.   Gina is a young dog, about 2 years old; Georgie is a senior citizen.  They came from the same house, there is a good chance that Gina is related to Georgie.  She may be taking care of her elderly disabled relative.  So you see why they need to be adopted together. Georgie couldn't function without Gina.

The dogs have been spayed/neutered, microchipped and are up to date on vaccinations.

UPDATE FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: 

Gina seems to like to sleep in a crate but it has to be of her choosing, she is a little iffy with cats not sure whether to be friends with them yet or chase them. She knows her name well and comes when called and has a bit of food aggression towards other dogs, she hasn't been leading Georgie around but if she looses sight of him at all she gets worried and will go find him. She loves her toys, she is basically a toy hoarder and likes to sit with you. Gina knows shake, sit and high five she is very smart, she loves her attention and if you are petting her and you stop she will pull your hand back to her to tell you to pet her more.

Georgie needs carried up and down the steps he has trouble finding his way around the yard I have to keep a close eye on him. He likes to lay on rugs and will potty in the house if you don't get him right outside. He likes cats and other dogs, he can get a bit grumpy with  Gina if he is sleepy. Georgie loves his belly rubs. they are both really great dogs.
