Rocky the Dog needs a home
Rocky is one handsome fellow. He is an Airedale Terrier/ Pit Bull Terrier mix, 1 year old, with a beautiful brindle coat on a well built body.
This energetic fellow was so very ready to get out of the kennel. Off leash in the court yard he acted like a pony in a rodeo racing around the barrels. In Rocky's case it was planter boxes he was running around. He will need a family that is able to give him lots of exercise. Time alone in your back yard isn't going to cut it!
Rocky tips the scales at a solid 77 pounds. His size is why he lost his home, they thought he had gotten too big. This is one reason we hope adopters will do some homework and know what to expect when they get a puppy, because they have a habit of growing up.
Older children is the suggestion, and he must meet any resident dog. We want then to get along and like each other. Training classes are recommended to give Rocky some better manners and help him become less impulsive.
