Acer the Rabbit needs a home
In May, 2016 MHRR received a call about a few accidental litters resulting in 13 buns, 5 females and 8 males. They were born on March 14th and March 15th, 2016. They are all named after Pixar characters. The 8 males are named are Remy, Nash, Buzz, Wall-E, Sulley, Flik, Acer, and Anchor. The females have been named Eva, Barbie, Merida, Boo, and Princess Dot.
Acer is active, curious and social, though he loves his toys more than people. :) He uses the litterbox pretty well in his condo. His favorite way to play is digging, so providing a tub, box, or covered litter pan with shredded paper will have him occupied for hours! He's just as happy with an empty soda bottle. Acer is a capable jumper, and has cleared his 4' exercise pen on occasion, so its best to keep a cover on it if not free-range. He likes his kitten friend and is not bothered by the dogs in his foster home. He can be fussy with other buns in the house but has become closer to humans over the last year.
This bun is currently fostered in Baton Rouge, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are either tattoed with "MHR" in the ear or are microchipped. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
