Hi there-Pretty Petey here! I am a 4 year old Chihuahua mix.
If you’re looking for a sweet lap dog, I am your man. I am great with kids, too! I am a cuddler and snuggler. I am also very quiet. My foster mom says she hasn’t even heard me bark the entire time I’ve been here!
I am looking for someone who will take the time to work on my potty training. I’m doing pretty good, it’s just no one ever took the time to really help me with it.
I am looking for a home with or without other dogs. If there are other dogs, I prefer them to be around my size and not aggressive. You see, I sometimes get nervous around bigger dogs that are rambunctious, because I’m so little.
My foster mom says she fell in love with me from the moment we met. She says I’m the sweetest little boy.

All Ruff Start dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention (dogs) as well as heartworm tested (dogs).
Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
