Brisco was surrendered to the Burlington Animal Services in shelter in Haw River, NC, on May 12, 2017. Brisco belonged to someone who no longer wanted to care for him so he left them with his family. The family didn't want to care for him either so he was surrendered to us.  Brisco is heartworm positive and estimated to be about 12 years old.


He's neutered and dog friendly. Seniors don't have a lot of luck getting adopted from the shelter and almost always need a rescue. The fact that he's hw positive and a senior have the odds stacked against him. Hopefully you can find it in your heart to adopt this sweet dog who to no fault of his own is now homeless.
