Adopt a Domestic Short Hair (short coat)

Marmalade-marbled Kady and Honeybell are two cool felines. Sweet, shy and demure at first blush, once they warm up they love being petted, playing with wand toys, and eating! The tender 2-year-olds enjoy the company of most other cat-friendly cats, dogs, and all people, and will thrive in a calmer home where they can continue to build their confidence. Kady and & Honeybell each have mild special needs. Kady needs to take daily steroid pills to maintain her liver levels, but she is very accustomed to the routine of taking the pills so it's an easy task. Honeybell has a flattened ear that gives her a unique look and requires that she receive ear drops 2x per week to keep her ears clean and healthy. They can be adopted alone or as a pair.

Spayed, microchipped, and UTD on all vaccinations, Kady & Honeybell are being fostered in the Westminster area. As part of our 18 for 2018 campaign, Kady and Honeybell's adoption fee is $25 each or $50 as a pair.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care. Highly requested breeds help cover the vet costs incurred by some of our other cats, enabling us to save more lives!

• $250 for purebred/highly requested kittens (6 months & under)


• $150 for purebred/highly requested cats (older than 6 months)


• $150 for kittens (6 months & under)   


• $75 for cats (older than 6 months)   


• $35 for senior cats (8 years or older)
