Louis the Cat needs a home
Louis and another cat Giorgio came to Purrfect Pals from a shelter transfer in Eastern Washington. They were relieved after such a long drive to be able to stretch their legs. They both tested positive for Feline Leukemia and were prime candidates to live in our Leuki room. Louis can be adopted if he lives as an only cat or with another Feline Leukemia cat. Louis is very sweet and shy but doesn't like to be picked up. He is scared easily and doesn't like sudden movements which will make him go hide. However if you walk up to him slowly he may let you pet him down his back and he will turn around and let you pet his head and cheeks. He realizes that he really likes the petting and will lay down and roll on his side for more. You can tell he has trust issues but he is getting better everyday and just needs patience and quiet slow movements around him. Louis gets along great with other cats and cuddles and sleeps with them. He likes to play with wand and string toys so he doesn't have to get too close but still gets to play. Louis qualifies for the Permanent Foster Program where Purrfect Pals will care for and cover the cost for any Feline Leukemia related health issues. Like all Purrfect Pals cats Louis has been viral tested, altered, microchipped, and vaccinated.
