Maggie was injured badly sometime around Thanksgiving. A Good Samaritan heard her cries from an alley and found Maggie dragging her rear legs behind her. She rushed for help and put Maggie in the hospital before reaching out to rescues for help.

In the weeks that we have had this sweet little girl, she has had her MRI and Spinal surgery completed. Currently (1/16/18) she is on Doctors Ordered crate rest for her post-op but is good to go for short controlled walks in her wheelcart.

So far just 3 weeks after her surgery - she has stood up on her own on all fours and tries to walk. She stumbles a bit but keeps trying. She really wants to run so badly!

With on-going physical therapy, underwater treadmill, and acupuncture we have no doubt this Tough Cookie will continue to improve.

She is super sweet, super small, and pretty quiet. Oh and she doesn't take No for an answer! :)
