Adopt a Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat)

Bubblegum is the sweetest, biggest baby you’ll ever meet. She LOVES to play and give love. She is very energetic and loves to entertain herself by throwing her toys in the air and catching them, chasing her tail until she falls down and pulling the fluff out of all her stuffed babies. She gets so excited to see you, and loves to snuggle. She is very silly and likes to bury her head under all the pillows on the couch and pretend like she’s sleeping. She is still on the mend from surgery, but getting better every day. She has to be wrangled until she’s completely healed, but she loves to run and jump and chase squirrels. She is great with my big dog, Littlefoot, so much so that they are inseparable. They kiss each other, spoon on the couch and terrorize the cat together. She had no training when I found her, but she already knows how to sit on command, and go to her room (kennel). She eats her food immediately, and takes medicine easily when it’s hidden in her kibble or pieces of turkey. She still hasn’t gotten over the excitement of the cat, and wants to sniff him and get as close as she can before he jumps out of her reach. We are working on not chewing up our beds, and not barking as much as she wants. She was an outside dog her first year and is getting used to using her inside voice. Bubblegum needs a good family who can give her endless love and attention, a big back yard, and an owner who has the energy to keep her active outside on walks and going to the park. She loves having another dog to play with so that’s a plus. She was hit by a bus head on- so she is still skittish around streets, hearing car noises, riding in the car with the windows down and buses that pass us on our walks. Bubblegum has a full heart and just wants to be snuggled and loved.
