Dolly Dumple has had a hard road to travel to get back to serenity. She was probably one of the most frightened dogs we've ever had at the shelter. Her little body would quake and tremble in fear. Little by little over time the staff and volunteers coaxed her into trusting that her world isn't crashing in on her. She now feels pretty confident while on leash. Off leash in the play yards she's good unless something scares her and she will try to dig out so she can run. But it's great that she trusts people to keep her safe. We would recommend leash walking or being with her while she is in the yard. She's a nice low-energy companion. Being her mom or dad would be such a rewarding experience for someone wanting to make a real difference in her life and she will reward you with undying loyalty. She shows no aggression whatsoever. Just fearfulness. She's 8 years old, 54 pounds, spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current with vaccinations. Want to meet her?
