Adopt a Australian Shepherd / Mixed (long coat)
Arial the Dog needs a home
Arial is a seven month old deaf Australian Shepherd mix. She's going to be a big girl. As you can see from her pictures, she's also ridiculously cute, ands she's going to be a beautiful and unique-looking adult dog.
Her momma was picked up on a country road in Northern California. She was very pregnant, and the wonderful people that found her made sure they had a safe place to be born, raised and weaned by their momma. Three of the litter were deaf. Arial arrived at our rescue with littermates Kristoff and Aurora.
Arial is perpetually happy, smart and full of positive energy. We do include some training with our adoptions for local adopters, but she will need basic obedience training and socialization. She is good with other dogs, and can be introduced to our office kitties to see if she's okay with cats. She will need to be included as a member of the family!
If you would like to meet this adorable and sweet young puppy, please complete our online adoption application: www.deafdogrescueofamerica.org/adoption-application.html
Please note that we start our adoption process with our online adoption application, and are unable to respond to email or phone inquiries without an application on file.
