Sira the Dog needs a home
Meet Sira. She was a stray and is estimated to be around 3 years old. She was a bit shy and unsure at first, but once she figures out you're okay, she is very sweet and loving. One of the volunteers reports that Sira is a real sweetheart and gives her hugs when she comes to the kennels. Sira has also sat in people's laps before, too. :) Sira needs a chance to blossom in a home where she's secure and well loved. Sira weighed ~43 pounds at her spay appointment, and could use a few more pounds. She does have the kennel/barrier aggression thing going on, and barks at other dogs when she's in her kennel. But, she's gone on walks with other dogs, and has been fine with that. We aren't sure of her mix, but she's a pretty little girl. She's young and energetic, so an active situation would be best.
