Adopt a Border Collie / Chow Chow / Mixed (long coat)

Boasting a playful pirate patch over his left eye and a name that conjures up cuddling, Teddy is 60 pounds of frisky and friendly. Blessed with a sweet and happy disposition, he loves the attention of every person he meets as much as he loves his toys -- especially tennis balls -- and will gladly play fetch with anyone up to the challenge. A great fan of the outdoors, he thrives on long walks and brisk runs, and makes an excellent hiking partner. Averse to cats, he gets along with some dogs, most notably when they’re all off leash, and is diligently at work on both improving his doggy manners and learning his basic commands. Fully housetrained, he can be left out of his crate without issue, but being noise-sensitive, he’s best suited to life in a quiet home with a securely fenced yard, no cats, and active adopters to complete his training and ensure that he’s kept mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever.

Animal Rescue of the Rockies believes that every pet should find a wonderful, caring home. To ensure each pet finds the best possible home, we ask that you fill out an adoption application form so we can learn more about you and your household. We review each application we receive and will contact you as quickly as possible. A home visit will be scheduled before any pet is adopted to a new home. Once a home visit has taken place and the adoption application has been approved, we will ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement form. Our adoption fees help cover the cost of spay/neuter, veterinary exams, vaccinations, microchipping, and foster care, enabling us to save more lives!

Adoption fee is $250 and covers microchip, DAPP, Rabies, Heart Worm test and spay/neuter.
