Adopt a Rottweiler / Great Dane / Mixed (short coat)
Solomon the Dog needs a home
Update 8-13-17. ~
An ideal home would be one or two other medium to large dogs max or even none. He wants to sleep with the owner, he needs infinite patience and understanding that he had been severely abused and had his hear
t broken. They need to go slow and be a gentle Alpha. He takes a while to trust and he is people selective and dog selective possibly. A couple meet n greets would be best. He is a talker and a follower and loves belly rubs. He is a good boy. No kids preferably. They can be to unpredictable; possibly older kids but would have to be very gentle. He needs a stable person and stable home that is quiet.
Update: 7-2-17.
Solomon's thyroid is controlled at last check 6 weeks ago. He has almost doubled his weight since the shelter, he is now 120 pounds - he is lucky to have lived after being so starved by someone before. H
e had ACL repairs in both knees and doing well. His medication is very inexpensive

Meet Solomon! He is a 5-6 year old Rottweiler/Great Dane. Solomon w
ants to be a lap dog and is very sweet and loving. He loves to go for walks and plays ball. He also knows sit and shake! Sadly, he was treated badly by someone so he requires an understanding and kind owner.
He was loved at one time. Maybe his owners died and then he got shifted around to bad people, we are not sure of his past prior to being at the shelter, but he was full of heartache when he first got to his foster home . Solomon is now living the good life, thanks to his foster mom that is making sure he never has an empty stomach and will never be hurt ever again! He will be a good 100lbs easy, as he was emaciated as well. He definitely needs a quiet household and no children under 16. Solomon just wants to be loved and would make a wonderful companion for that special person!
