Maggy the Dog needs a home
Maggie and her brother Wally were displaced from their home during Hurricane Harvey and then just as they were getting to return, their precious mom (a beloved doxie rescuer) unexpectedly passed away. These two have lost their home, mom and other doggie siblings all at once but they are safe with a loving foster who knew their mom.
Maggie is a happy girl with a spoonfull of sassyness. She loves to be petted and loved on and to cuddle in laps. She gets along with other dogs but she buys into the "Great Feline Conspiricy" of world domination and refuses to set foot in any home that even smells like a cat has looked at it. She loves her kibble a LOT so she is currently on a weight loss program to shed a few extra pounds. Maggie has learned to use the doggie door and is a very good girl when asked to get in her crate and behaves very nicely in it. She and her brother love eachother and always want to be in the same crate. They follow eachother all around the house and exploring the backyard. Maggie would dealy love to go to a home with her brother Wally, espeically since their world has already been turned so upside down, but she might be ok apart as long as there is another dog to be her friend.
As soon as Maggy has all her vetting and a dental she will be ready for her new journey with a new loving family.
MAGGY MUST BE ADOPTED WITH WALLY- THEY ARE VERY BONDED
