Bear the Dog needs a home
Meet Bear. We agreed to take this handsome 4 year old boy after his owner ran into some major health setbacks. During Bear's initial exam, the vet discovered a pretty serious heart murmur and sent him for further testing. Much to our shock and disappointment, he was diagnosed with severe pulmonic stenosis (http://www.petmd.com/dog/conditions/cardiovascular/c_dg_pulmonic_stenosis) and his prognosis is not good. He is not currently on any medication.
Bear is very intelligent, focused on his person, and with proper introductions great with dogs of different sizes. He will chase cats...in fact, you would never know he's on borrowed time. With the right foster home he may live past his prognosis.
We are looking for a hospice/foster home for Bear. A warm bed to spend his remaining time on earth. He was diagnosed with chronic pulmonary stenosis. Anyone in the vicinity of Montgomery County MD? If you cannot foster, but would like to contribute to Bear's care: https://www.paypal.me/kninerescue
