STEPHEN the Dog needs a home
Little Stephen is cute as can be, and he needs a foster home for a few weeks! He's an incredibly cute mixed-breed dog, just over a year old. He walks well on his leash, as you can see on his video. He's affectionate, sits for his treats and accepts them gently. He likes to play with toys, and has youthful energy and he guards his possessions. Stephen is heartworm positive, and he'd like to have a foster home where he can hang out while he goes through treatment. If you are interested in fostering him, please call (904) 321-1647 ext. 103. We'll provide everything you need, including food and bowls. Heartworms are not contagious to other animals. The recovery time is much easier in a home than in a shelter with lots of barking dogs. He'll just need quiet time for a few weeks, and then the heartworms will be gone and he'll be ready to find his forever home. You'll be doing a wonderful thing for an adorable little guy, and you'll have the wonderful feeling of knowing that you helped to mend a heart.
