Stripes the Cat needs a home
Chatty, Kitten-Sized, Independent Say hello to Stripes, a diminutive little lady who has lots to talk about! Although she is mostly independent and shy, Stripes will open up to if you sit and chat with her for a while. When she's tucked away, she will happily come out to play if you call her name enough. Stripes is your best chatty friend who is always excited to share her feelings with you. Stripes is extremely active for an older cat, especially in the evening/night. She really loves to pounce on strings and other toys that she can chase around. She lets you know she's happy while playing by shaking the tip of her tail like a fluffy rattlesnake, punctuated with loud purrs. She also loves cat tunnels for play, to relax in, or just as her go-to place where she knows she always can be comfortable. She also likes to watch the world go by from her window perch (aka: Cat TV). Stripes' tiny body and features makes her kitten-like in appearance. She's missing a couple teeth, but that makes her look even cuter! And who wouldn't love to gaze longingly into her giant eyes? Because Stripes is more active in the evening, she would do best in a home that can give her some attention after dinner time. She should be fine in a household with other cats if they are calm and respect her space. We have yet to see her around kids and dogs. Do you have a window, a few toys, and some love to spare?
