FOSTER PARENT COMMENTS:  Kiki is a total love bug!  She loves to cuddle and to say she is a lap dog is an understatement.  Kiki will be found on any available lap:-)   She wants to be part of a loving family.  All she wants is to be loved, held and cuddled.  Well, actually, she also wants to play and eat until she explodes !  Kiki has plenty of energy and loves to play but she does know how to settle down and hang out on the couch or bed.  She will need moderate exercise but is also capable and willing to go on a 5 mile walk.  As far as food….there is not a meal that comes around that she will not devour.  She eats with zeal !  Kiki loves to play with my 100 pound rottie mix and my 53 pound pittie girl but she thinks she is in charge so this little 18 pounder needs a dog with patience.  She would be great as an only dog or with a dog that will play with her but respect her.  When you meet Kiki,  be prepared to laugh – she’s a little dog on stilts.  Her legs are literally way longer than her body.  It’s pretty cute to see !    By the way, KiKi adores children.  She’d do well in a home with children over 7 years old.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY:   Kiki was initially adopted from a shelter about a year ago.  The owner had too many dogs and was having serious medical issues.  Sadly, social services contacted a rural shelter and informed them that they were removing KiKi and six other dogs from this owners property. BFPA stepped in and took KiKi so she would not have to go to the shelter. This is her history but it is her future we are focused on. She is looking for her new forever home and hopes that you will consider her.  She wants to come and spend time on your lap!
