Caretaker says: "We met Rufus last night when we were trapping in Camden, NJ. This boy is so friendly and sweet but as you can see in bad shape. He’s very congested and has crusty eyes. He’s very thin, as well.
We took him to the clinic today and found out he’s already neutered. He was clearly someone’s cat, at some point in his life.
We got an antibiotic injection and eye drops for his eyes. They sent out a fecal test to check for intestinal parasites. He has a good appetite and he loves attention ??
He has a temporary place to stay while he is on meds and we’re waiting for test results to come back."
