Affectionate, Loving, Playful Tallahassee is a beautiful tuxedo girl who is blossoming into quite a lovely lady. While she appears reserved at first, she will let you know how much she loves to be petted. She is playful as well and enjoys romping around with her two brothers and four foster brother and sisters. She is quite tidy with her litter box usage and scratches on the scratching posts provided, in the most delightful way! She loves treats when offered and has a healthy appetite, yet maintains her girlish figure. She has never been introduced to children or dogs but would probably do well with them if properly introduced. She might do better in a two-cat household so adopting her with one of her brothers may be the best for her. Tallahassee is FeLV+ (Feline Leukemia Virus), which causes a weakened immune system and requires special care. APA! provides some medical assistance after adoption. Cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. Tallahassee is not contagious to people or dogs, but should live only with other FeLV+ cats.
