Wrigley the Dog needs a home
Meet Wrigley!
Wrigley is an 11-12 month old Boxer mix (not sure what the mix is, but he is medium sized and has a lab-type coat) that is looking for a loving home. He is a happy guy! Wrigley was adopted through our program as a puppy, and was very well-cared for and loved, but his adopter came into financial hardship and could not longer give him the care he needed. He seems to have adjusted quickly to our shelter again, and is getting lots of love. He seems to thrive off of being on a schedule (some dogs find it comforting to know what to expect throughout their day). He is crate and house trained, and knows how to sit. He is working on leash training (he does pull quite a bit), so his new family will need to work with him on this. He can be a little nervous when meeting strangers, so confidence building would benefit him. We are always available for training consultations, as well! Wrigley is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm preventative.

- Please note that because our shelter is located in southern Illinois, about 3 hours south of Champaign, our animals are available for adoption in Champaign only during scheduled events, and are available in Murphysboro, IL between events, by appointment.
