Fernando the Dog needs a home
Meet Fernando! Fernando came to us when his family was no longer able to care for him. He is a sweet little guy who would do best in a home that will give him time to bond with them and come out of his shell. He is just about 11 years old, weighs 9 lbs, and is a Long Haired Chihuahua. He is fine with cats and would probably do fine with another dog if it was calm and quiet like him or just left him alone. He will need a home without any children under the age of 12 as children tend to make him nervous. He does have some vision loss in his left eye from occasional infections and may need to be on eye medication on and off. He will be going to the vet to have a dental and a health check and we will update if he requires anything else. He will be ready to meet potential adopters as of January 30th, but we are taking applications now.
