Lady Gracie Lizman the Dog needs a home

Meet Lady Gracie, a Shepherd/Hound mix, approximately 1.5 years old, and weighing around 39 pounds.   Gracie is a charming and sweet baby.   She has been in two foster homes with other dogs and with cats.   She definitely gets along with other dogs and would probably do well in a home with another active dog that she could play with.  How she does with cats is questionable. It seems that she might be OK with adult cats that are dog savvy, who stand their ground, but she would not do well with kittens or small pets as she definitely wants to chase them.



Gracie is house trained & crate trained but she needs leash training.   Gracie is not used to a leash and tries to twist & back out of the collar.  Gracie is smart and a fast learner so with a bit of patience she will be a great walking companion.  This girl still has a lot of puppy left in her - she gets excited when she meets new people, new dogs, new anything.  She loves chew toys and tennis balls. Lady Gracie will make a great companion once she gets some structure and some training.
