Look who has the coveted position of being our lobby cat! Bobbit is ready to greet all visitors as they walk in the door! She has come a long way since being abandoned on the Almost Home porch on a summer night in June.
As first, Bobbit seemed to be so feral that we couldn’t handle her. As it turned out, she was actually quite ill and badly injured. Bobbit had several broken toes (so badly broken that her claws were embedded in her paw pads,) an injured face and damaged teeth, as well as a severe intestinal infection.
As Bobbit improved physically, it became clear that she was definitely not feral. Bobbit is now healthy and passionately affectionate. If you visit Almost Home today, Bobbit will beg for love. She has been known to become so blissful from getting attention that she has fallen out of her tree house perch because she was trying to get closer for more love.
Bobbit will always have a scar on her upper lip (it gives her a really cute expression) and her front claws should be kept trimmed due to the way her toes have heeled. We think Bobbit is a real angel who will make someone a wonderful Christmas present.
Bobbit is a DSH Black and white, spayed female... approximately 5 years old.
NOTE: All animals are spayed/neutered as soon as practical after arriving at our facility unless there is a medical issue that may cause a delay or they are too young to be spayed/neutered.
