Meet sweet little Ofelia!  Ofelia is a 8 lb chihuahua who is 7 years young. Ofelia is a nice little girl who gets along great with other dogs.  She rides great in the car and walks well on leash with a harness.  Ofelia is a little lap dog who would love to help you run your daily errands.  She does not like going into the crate and will protest a little at first, but will sleep in the crate overnight. Ofelia is potty trained and a good girl in the house, so she doesn't need to be crated.  Ofelia would love to sleep in your bed with you if you will allow her, but can also be found napping in the nearest doggy bed or nestled into a pile of blankets on the couch.  Ofelia can be a little nervous if picked up too quickly by someone she doesn't know and would do best in an adult household or with older children only.  Ofelia is spayed, microchipped, current on her vaccines and just had  a dental cleaning.  Her adoption fee is $250 which helps the rescue cover the medical expenses and supplies.  Please fill out an adoption application today to meet this cutie!


All of our dogs are in private volunteer foster homes, and as such these individuals are most qualified to answer any questions regarding the dog.



We do not have a central shelter or kennel locations - you must make a private one-on-one meet and greet appointment with each individual dog at the foster family's convenience.  To protect our foster families' privacy, we must have an APPROVED adoption application on file before we release their contact information.



All of our dogs are fixed (spayed/neutered) and up to date on shots. We have a 2 week foster-to-adopt period to make sure the dog is a fit for your family. Adoption fees vary from dog-to-dog.  



Please note that an approved application DOES NOT guarantee that the dog will be placed with you. The final decision rests with our fosters as they know the dogs the best, and please be aware that there may be other applicants interested in the same dog. We continue accepting applications on a dog until the dog is with the new adoptive family in their home.
