Hi friends! I am that missing puzzle piece for your life that provides all the love, infectious smiles, and comical behavior you are looking for all in one beautiful package (I’m also humble too!). You can call me Emmi but it only takes a moment with me to realize why I have “Loveabull” as my second name. My fosters say my personality is an affectionate companion type. I love being active - especially when it comes to playing fetch and anything to do with water. However, my fosters say I am very relaxed indoors and only need to be near you to be happy (though a squeaky toy and some belly rubs certainly suit me fine as well). As far as details go, I am crate trained and am just as happy sleeping on a dog bed as I am joining you on the couch or your bed. There is strength in my beauty and sometimes I use it a little too much on walks if I get distracted by another dog or person but my fosters have been noticing lots of improvement once I found my routine. Due to how excited and over stimulated I can get around other days I would do best in a family as the only pup in the house. I am the definition of “eager to please” so learning new tricks or behaviors comes quickly. I am bursting with loyalty and affection and if you find a place for me in your family I will show you my special way I ask for love that always leaves my fosters laughing!
Emmi is a Female Pit Bull Mix that we estimate to be born around 10/1/2013 and weighs about 65 lbs.
PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/k9_angels_rescue_application_to_adopt.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.
OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. However, we only adopt young puppies locally, due to the 4 month timeframe it takes to get them fully vetted and altered.
SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one’s pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian.
