Lou - 12 year old domestic short hair tabby. Neutered and declawed in front. Zero health problems, is litter box trained (never has gone outside the box) and has always been an inside only cat. He weighs approximately 15 lbs.
Lou is a bit cantankerous. He is not for the novice cat owner. he can be placed in a house with a dog(s) but he won't be their buddy. Generally he leaves the dogs alone. He does love to be on or around his humans but he will only get pet on his terms. He will bit new people and even his humans. He does not jump on counters or high places. He will jump onto a chair and then a dining table or other surface if he thinks he will get pet. He is as tolerant of children as he is of adults but he will bite children if they pet him too much or he feels threatened. it is not recommended for him to be in a home with young children who are not used to cats or where he cannot have a safe place to go. He would not do well with other cats.
