Pomegranate (Shadow Cat) the Cat needs a home
Pomegranate is one of several cats who were abandoned in a crumbling house after their people were evicted. Luckily our amazing TNR volunteers were able to go to the house and catch all of the cats. They've all been fully vetted now and are ready for their new furever homes. Some of these kitties will need a little extra time to remember how to trust people again. Pomegranate is 2-3 years old and can be very friendly, once he gets to know you. He can be a bit of a bully to other cats so would probably do best in a quiet home.
A note about our Shadow Cats: These cats are often overlooked by adopters because they tend to hide in the back of their cages and can be a little skittish when picked up and held. We call them Shadow Cats because they tend to hide in the “shadows”.
Our shadow cats are not aggressive or mean. They are just very shy, nervous, or timid around people so will need extra time to settle in. The length of time can vary and will definitely take a while. Shadow cats can make wonderful companions, but are not for everyone. These special cats need a special home that is willing to give them extra patience, time, space, socialization and love. ?
