Champ was a rescued as a puppy 11 years ago. Unforeseen medical issues now prevent me from being able to care for him.
He enjoys being a couch potato and doesn't need much in the way of exercise to keep him content. He can be very focused on a task but can be distracted with a little bit of effort. He likes some order and a fairly regular routine. He is cautious and may take some time to accept new people, places, or things. He is more likely to cling to your side or go hide when presented with new situations. Many people may call him aloof, but he is just not the touchy-feely type of dog. He is happy knowing the people he loves are near. He doesn't need to do all that licking and begging for attention like some other dogs out there!
