Leslie the Dog needs a home

Leslie is a great lab/basset mix, playful and active with beautiful golden brown eyes that look like bright polished amber. She was born in January of 2008 and is about 40#. She came from a Fresno shelter. Good with dogs and older, considerate kids. Probably not housetrained.

 

She is very shy on first meeting, but is a friendly and easy going gal once she trusts you. She will need a patient home that can allow her that time.  We recommend spritzing Rescue Remedy on her snout and bottoms of her feet, put some in her water, use the candy form, soothing music, lavender incense ++++

 

One of her BFFs is lab mix Peter.  She also plays with others of the big males though she is the boss.

 

She is one of our longest staying dogs and would love a family willing to take a chance on a shy dog.

 fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.  




The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs!  

No more weekend mobiles—only special events. Maybe if there are enuff appointments, we could see you in
