You never know when a black cat - or dog - might cross your path. At ARF, we love these cuddly figures of the night, these beautiful jet black animals that are permanently attired for an evening of mischief! This featured black dog is Jordin Sparks, one of a trio of fabulous pups we rescued several years ago. Jordin was found along with her mother and sister running the streets - and though these three were nervous at first, they are so thankful to have been rescued. Now that they've acclimated to life at the shelter, they are in search of a home of their very own! Jordin is the most outgoing of the three dogs, and really enjoys spending time with people. Jordin is up to date on shots and weighs around 50 pounds. She is believed to be a lab/shepherd mix. (Remember just because a dog has spots on its tongue dosn't always mean its a Chow Chow... in fact! over 30 breeds have that trait!)
