Big, lean, gentle Lasagna is one of our brave Harvey refugees. He came to us with a pellet in his cheek, so his life may have been pretty rough before we took him in. But all he needed (besides having the pellet removed) was some time in a loving foster home, and now he has blossomed into a sweet, gentle kitty. He needs some time to get to know you, but once he knows you and trusts you, he'll come to you for cuddles. Like many cats, he doesn't care to be picked up, but he's all about snuggling next to you on the sofa and getting pets and belly rubs. He plays nicely with the two younger cats in his foster home. The older cat doesn't seem to like him, but rather than engaging in drama, Lasagna just avoids that cat. We haven't seen him with dogs or kids. He's still wary of sudden movements, so he might be happiest in a home without bouncy dogs and young children. Gentle, respectful dogs and older kids might be OK after he gets used to them. Lasagna is quite the conversationalist, but he does so in a soft, high-pitched chirp which is just too cute! He's a big boy, but also very gentle. He keeps his claws in when he reaches for you. Lasagna would do best in a quiet, predictable home, with patient people who will let him feel comfortable at his own pace. We think he'd also love a friendly kitty companion to play with.
