My name is Hope! I'm a Shepard mix that's around 6 years old. 




I was very nervous in the shelter, but now that I'm in a foster home I've really blossomed. It takes me awhile to trust new people (treats help) but when I do, I'm super sweet. I like to give kisses and cuddle. I really love to play fetch and play with any toys that squeak! Give me a Kong full of treats and I can keep content for hours trying to get them out. 




I'm a VERY smart girl. I know stay, sit, shake, down, no, and probably even more commands that my foster family hasn't discovered yet. I know how to alert my foster family when I need to go potty and I happily go in my kennel when you ask me. 


 


I'm getting along with my foster brother dog with slow introductions, I play bow at him every 5 minutes, just so he is sure that I mean business! I have met the cat but she sure didn't like me! I think I'd be good with dog-savvy cats. 



I'm so happy to be in a home, I can't wait to be in my forever home!

Ruff Start Rescue is a foster based rescue. Animals are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a facility where animals are kept.
