Are you a social butterfly who loves to talk to people? So am I! My name is Duncan, and when you come to meet me I'll introduce myself to you by meowing at you insistently. I'm trying to say "please come over and play with me, human," because my favorite thing to do is play with all kinds of kitty toys. I can do Olympic-worthy flips for wand toys (I'll be happy to give you a demonstration). Not only am I playful and curious, I'm very handsome, too. I have stripes that make me feel like a brave tiger and silky white fur for you to run your fingers through. I think my perfect family would be with people who love to play as much as I do, and then when it's time to settle down, maybe they would cuddle with me. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adopting from Second Chance SPCA, please come to our adoption center during business hours. Appointments are not required. Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application. Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old. Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.



 





ADOPTION FEES: Includes spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test (dogs) or FeLV/FIV test (cats). All cats and dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. $250 for puppies under 6 months of age and $200 for dogs older than 6 months. $150 for kittens under 6 months of age and $125 for cats older than 6 months.


ADOPTION PROCESS: Adopters must visit with an adoption counselor and complete an application. Same-day adoptions are approved based on the best matched home for each pet. Animals not available for adoption are not able to be adopted before availability, nor can we hold any animals for individuals.  We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, but reserve the right to reject an application based on the needs of the pet. Adopters must live in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.  Adopters must be at least 21 years-old.  Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.


ADOPTION FEES: $200 for puppies under 6 months of age and $175 for dogs older than 6 months; $125 for kittens under 6 months of age and $100 for cats older than 6 months. Includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and heartworm preventative for dogs, Felv / FIV test for cats; all animals current on flea preventative.
