This sweet young girl was surrendered to a local shelter along with her 5 young puppies.  Once the puppies were weaned, they were all adopted and Momma was left at the shelter all alone.  Maria is about 2.5 years old and is a beautiful brindle color.  She is a big girl weighing in at 24 lbs.  She has had all of her vaccinations, has been spayed and microchipped but unfortunately has tested positive for heartworms and will have to go through heartworm treatment.  If your home could be the forever home for Maria, please complete an application at ctdr.org.
