London is a survivor and she is looking for a very special home. The actual details of her life are unknown and undoubtedly pretty grim before she was removed from a puppy mill with her last litter of puppies. She is a sweet girl whose spirit shines through the damage that results when a dog is deprived of a normal life from an early age.
She has strengths to build on. She loves attention from calm adults. She is happy around calm dogs, medium to large, and she is learning to play. She is crate trained and never chews on her bedding or has potty accidents in her crate. She is housebroken on a schedule but isn't reliable to have the run of the house yet. She loves to run in a fenced yard.
As a puppy mill dog,
an electronic fence would NOT work for her.
She has never shown any aggression.
She also has challenges. Every new experience is a threat to her. She retreats to her crate frequently. Every person in her environment needs to be calm and consistent and understand that it will take time for her to adjust. No resident children or cats, she finds them over-stimulating and scary for now.
London's progress will be slow and even though she may never be a social butterfly, she will be a loving homebody while she works on her challenges.
